I am currently usig a 47uF/25V SMD electrolytic capacitor as a preferred part in our designs. I am planning to use it across a 3.3V supply but I am concerned that as the applied voltage is significantly less than the rated voltage the capacitance may be lower than expected. I could use a 100 uF/6.3V capacitor ( same size ) but as this splits the volume purchasing it would be more expensive!
