I have to develop a system wich can detect a displacement from x picometers to x micrometers, between two circular plates (20 mm diam ). I try to use these plates as variable capacitor, and use a LC oscillator. This circuit seems to work, but I have an important 1/f noise, and it is very sensitive to the temperature . If you have some ideas, they are welcome !
