I am looking for a schematic of a good temperature/voltage insensative oscillator. It must
be able to run on approximately 2volts (two 1.2v nicads). The oscillation frequency must be
a square wave between 200Khz and 300Khz (tunable via a canned coil of some kind I guess), with a
with a bandwith of a 5Khz. The output of the oscillator will be fed to a transistor, driving a magnetic
coil. This all becomes a magnetic inductance transponder.
I also need a schematic of an amplifier circuit that will pick up the 200Khz-300Khz signal
(via a loop style "antenna") and amplify it and either feed it to a NE567 (tone decoder),
or more preferably, a narrow bandpass filter. The output of the decoded signal will be fed
to a microcontroller to keep track of passes over the loop.
I am a digital guy, so I don't know anything about oscillators or op-amps. :-\ I can design
PLDs and microcontroller circuits in my sleep. I would be happy to help anyone in the
digital arena. I just need some help in the analog department. :-) Thanks!
