we manufacture a hd-polyethylene part to which we apply 3-m reflective sheeting and we are starting to have problems with outgassing. this has happened the last two production runs. although we have changed vendors for our material on the first run, we went back to our old vender and our old material on the second run and in both cases the reflective sheeting is bubbling 24 hours after we have applied it. we flame treat and plasma treat our parts. can someone tell me what causes outgassing and how can we minimize or eliminate this problem. thanks, juan martinez
