Is there a bar code standard that is primarily used on polyimide or kapton labels for circuit boards?
The reason that I ask is that we are printing polyimide label materials and then performing tests for chemical and abrasion resistance.

I can print a bar code on polyimide labels that will yield an 'A' grade but the format may not represent what the circuit board industry is using. For example, if I use a narrow bar setting my bar codes may fail to read.

We would hate to promote a polyimide label as a solution for circuit board labeling only to have it fail in the customer's application.
