The easiest way is to get a scanner which “autodiscriminates” the type of code. They are readily available from companies such as Intermec, Symbol Technologies, and the like. There are many regional resellers. Click on www.polyonics.com/links. Then a directory called Barcode Suppliers, and under that a subdirectory called "Vars Around the World". You should be able to find a reseller near you regardless of where you are globally.
