Dear Bernard, PTFE is resistent to TFA for a chemical attack but there is a problem with the voids in the PTFE ( normal PTFE has voids, is porous ) and the small molecules from TFA are able to go into these voids with all kinds of problems. The best way to do this is to use TFM.
