My background and training are next to nothing. I have run a couple of business' in my years, and have generally been able to learn what I need to as I go. There isn't much I can't get a handle on.
I like Mike's ideas about drawing lines on a floor plan of our production area. I doubt I could make any major changes at this point but it might be a good way to learn how to design a flow.
As for my other question about doing a better job of turning my product evaluations into a simplification process I would like more input. There must be more people doing what I do. Or that have done it.
