Thanks for the kind words. To answer your question, I intend this to be an "accross the board forum" within automation and including optimization. The reason for this is that I have only very rarely seen factories (including some giants) where these two areas are properly combined ...In that I mean that optimization should be something that starts ideally with an initial concept and not as a way to repair an already "bad flow" due to for example, purchase of poorly compatible production equipment etc.

I have some people on line to write some hopefully interesting material, one of whom writes from time to time for a couple of the SMT mags.

Did you have anything to do with optimizing Motorola´s Easterinch site ?...The way they run looks a lot like what you describe as being your area of business.
