As part of modernization of our company, we are going to buy a new DCS for
some areas.
Right now we have 3 ABB DCS (advant) working in other production areas. We
have decided
to buy a Fisher-Rosemount's deltaV system, with some new field
instrumentation, specially
using fieldbus. This is the first time we are going to buy and use foundation
fieldbus and
we recently received the information that this system has interoperability
problems, having
difficulties to communicate with all field inst. (fieldbus) but
Fisher-Rosemount's.
Does anybody here has experience working with DeltaV and using fieldbus
instrumentation
other than Fisher-Rosemount's?
Any information or suggestion will be appreciated.
