I am currently programming an ATMEL AT9058535. I have a library which contains all my interrupts. The external interrupt EXT0 is vectored correctly (I believe) but is not running (it is connected to PD2). When I use the SEI instruction then attempt to write the SREG to the Serial port the I Bit is not set. Also, when I trigger the interupt in hardware the GIFR register does not change. Are the registers readable (I believe they are)? Is there something important I am missing? My Port D is set up as an input on pin 2, with a rising edge trigger
