Universal Sheet metal Recovering System
U.S.R. System

The U.S.R. System is a new software developed to help people involved in
fabricating.
It allows to recover, modify eventually and unfold all sheet metal parts
coming from any 3D CAD.
1) Recovering:
U.S.R. System can recover any 3D sheet metal part in IGES format that allows
to read any kind of CAD and particularly Pro/E and S.D.R.C. which you cannot
use any native format for.
Or optionally in native format for the following CAD systems:
· DWG 3D
· ACIS
· Parasolid
· Unigraphics
· SolidEdge
· SolidWorks
· Catia
· TOPbend
· Solid Designer
· Cadkey 3D
· CADDS 4X or 5
The part can be imported as a sheet metal model if the original CAD has some
sheet metal designing tools (Pro/Sheet-metal for example):

2)Transformation in sheet metal solid model
If the part is imported as a simple solid model, U.S.R. System allows to
transform it in a real solid sheet metal unbendable model ( in few
seconds ).
3)Modification
U.S.R. System has powerful tools to modify the cut out structure, notches,
bend radii, bend allowance parameters and so on in few seconds.
4)Unfolding
Then U.S.R. System unfolds the part to get the flat pattern according to
your own machining rules.
5) Advantages
Get the good result of the flat pattern at least 50 times faster then
previously.
