Dear Sir,
We are doing the heattreatment of Bering races made from SAE52100 Steel.We are keeping austenizing bath temp is 840 to 850 C followed by marquenching at 170 to 190 C.
We are facing the dimentional groth in outer dia and bore.
how could be avoided the rate of groth in marquenching bath.what will be the right temp. for austenizing and marquenching bath.

after 5-6 month what observ that thee is diamensonal groth in races and it was observ that more then .15
so its happen in some races that we can say in %like 4-5 %
so
please guide us.
