Dear Laurie,
Please advise what type of HHS it that you are processing, what is the austenitizing temperature, what is the quench method? Also please advise what the size of the hacksaw blade is(length, width, and thickness). What type of furnace are you austenitizing in? What atmosphere are you using? There may be a very simple way around the distortion so that it can be minimised. Pleasde advise at pyemet@toolcity.net
Best Regards to you,
David PS I am an ex Brit from Bolton
