I have been using Air Vac DRS Hot Gas Rework systems for
many years with great success. Currently working on process
matrix for building profile programs based on correlation
between BGA size (mm), board thickness and board density in
gm/sq. inch. Other issues include Building Profile boards,
doing machine characterization and repeatablility studies,
and training on use of X-ray for inspection.
