I am re-installing win95 on a friends pc and I am getting the message 'invalid system disk, remove disk and press any key' when there is no disk in the drive. I have booted the pc with the win95 boot disk and got the message 'disk I/O error, remove disk' etc. The harddrive has been formatted, I have tried start-up disks and I have viewed all floppies on my pc and they appear to have all the relavant files on them. I have installed win95 from scratch numerous time and never had this problem. Any help appreciated. Cheers. Chris.
