Does your ISP support Kflex technology? If not this could be also the problem. Some cheep modems like LT,
Motorola, HSP Micromodem, Rockwell and a couple more use Kflex and V90 technology. For some reason
some of these mode try to negotiate a Kflex modulation on a v90 ISP. To fix the problem you'll probably need an
init string to disable the kflex or to force the v90. You can find init with there definitions on www.modemhelp.net
If that is the case you init will look like AT&F+MS=v90,0. There are some other variance!!
I hope that can help!!!
