definately take out the extra slot covers in the back
then you can increase air flow by attaching a fan(sell them at a good pc store ) to one of the covers you took off or if you dont want to spend any money take the cover off and have a fan blowing on your motherboard
there is also heat sink compund that you can put between the cpu and the heat sink but some have said it voids the manufactureres warranty
i did all of the above on my o.c. pII and it m,ade my system much more stable
