I do beleive there is a number of manufactures that Intel uses to make there motherboards, as for the correct ranges generally the system boards have a default setting. There is one thing you could try to reduce heat build up, but this only works if you do not have kids or pets. Leave the case cover off and this will allow for more air circulation. If the system stills keeps on crashing then I would suspect a MTH problem. Lets hope your new motherboard comes in soon.
