I have a problem. It has come to pass that a significant number of cars, in original, factory finish have been contaminated with 2 pack epoxy overspray. Various solvents, including and as aggressive as, cellulose thinners, have been tried to remove this but with only limited success. The bodies, therefore, are having to be flatted and compounded to bring back original finish. This is a long and laborious job. The plastic parts of the cars though present a more difficult problem. They, of course, cannot be flatted without loosing their texture.
So then, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove this epoxy without damaging the plastic and/or the original paintwork? Regards Jonathan
