What industry is this for. There are standards specifically for professional products. En55103-1 and 2. The type of interface will effect the results of these tests.

There are also some safety concerns. Some amplifier speaker outputs are banana jack, and these just happen to be the same size as the AC Mains connectors. Review IEC 65 for more info on this.
