Hello,There is a DC-DC converter in each plugin card. The ground reference (signal ground) of each of these outputs are connected together through the backplane. However, I have seen various schemes used for connecting the signal ground to the chassis ground, i.e. through a 1Meg Ohmresistor, a ferrite bead, etc. I am not sure about the reason for this. I agree that the signal ground is noisy. But why not make a solid connection between that noisy ground and the chassis. Is that an EMC issue or a safetyissue?Thanks./Rajendra
