This may sound weird and I am way over my head but I am asking for some help. I am the director of a non-profit youth camp in SW Missouri that works with abused and at-risk children. A local company which laser engraves gave us a 1/4 inch thick engraved acrylic sign. They also offered to do any engraving we needed for free to help us on our fundraising. I talked to the owners about a fundraiser of selling Christmas ornaments and they said they would cut and engrave them with the camp's logo for free if I can come up with the acrylic but I don't know where to even look and cost. I have been told it needs to be molded and after it is cut I will need to polish the edges. Most of the children we bring to camp have been sexually abused and the more I can save the more children we can bring to camp. I am trying to find where I can get the parts (cheap) and how to polish such. I also need to sometimes give thank you plaques to companies from time to time and we cannot afford the $50 each and up for the blank acrylic plaques I have found so far. I'm hoping I can find cutoffs, chipped, surplus, overstock, or something. If there is someone who could help me I would apprecate it greatly. I could also send you a file showing our logo where you could see what it looks like.
