ive noticed that the wrinkles that are left behind when
redrawing a cup to a reduced diameter are less severe when
a metal of lower gauge is used. could any please offer me theories?

i thought perhaps that the reduced gauge meant there was less material required to flow during the redraw process. but this isnt my area of expertise so i thought id check with someone else.

thanx ppl.
