Can anyone tell me if high speed steel rolls are used in hot/cold stretch mills for finishing of seamless tubes. If this is the case, what hardness is the high speed steel tempered to and what grades of HSS are normally used in this application? Also, are HSS rolls used in the finishing of other steel sections?
