I have been researching cold drawing of stainless steel and titanium bars over the last few weeks, so i can give you some idea of what would be obtained there. not sure about regular C-steel. Your main variable is reduction in area - the greater the reduction (the longer the tube/bar becomes) the more strength and the less ductility. e-mail me if you want to know more.
