Hello,I am forming 1/16" .0625 DIA. 303 stainless steel rod into small levers. These rods are threaded on one end for aprox. .500" . There are two small bends and finally they are flattened in a press with 10 tons of force. The questions are: - Should I be using a different grade of steel? - Should the steel be heated before forming it, or doesn't it really matter? Thank-you for your help. John O'Shaughnessy
