I work for a pressure tube manufacturer in the United States. We have a recurring problem with the breakage of our roll forming tooling. I suspect that the forces at work are larger then anticipated. Is anyone aware of a technical paper written on the forces involved in roll forming round tubing? I'm an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student currently in my junior year. Thank you for any input.
