Further to my earlier posting on the subject, I have just obtained the latest hardness figures on Tata Mill at Jamshedpur. There has been a drastic revision and the latest figures are as follows:

F1 (conventional) Duplex iron indefinite 75-82 Shore C
chilled


F2 (CVC) High Chromium 73-80 Shore C


F3 (CVC) High Chromium 73-80 Shore C


F4 (CVC) Duplex iron indefinite 75-82 Shore C
chilled


F5 (CVC) Duplex iron indefinite 75-82 Shore C
chilled


F6 (CVC) Duplex iron indefinite 75-82 Shore C
chilled
