Rob, Thanks for the reply. I think you may be on to something here. We did get some error messages in the VL log that suggest some format problems. I didn't take them too seriously, because I was under the impression that (a) incorrect formats would not be allowed to be entered in the database; and (b) even if they were, they wouldn't be a Transfer-Killer. I will post to the forum again after I check this out.
Now, how to find the location of format problems in 115 fields of 18843 records? (sigh).
