We currently use no TCL or TLL at the facility I work in...strictly CCF. I have a hard enough time with the CCF, much less another language!

I have attended the first phase of MOD300 training at the ABB facility in Cleveland, but that course taught basic page building, console configuration, and very basic CCF logic building & tuning.

I have taken on the task of revising all the logic diagrams for the power plant I work at, and for the most part this is not a difficult task (just extremely time consuming). By using the cross-reference utility in the configuator, I can find where most of the logic goes. With time (& repetition) I'm getting better at it.

My problem is when we add a new conveyor system etc. where we need logic written from scratch. What I end up doing is finding similar logic that already exists, and copying it then make changes to suit my needs. I'm just wondering if some type of automation company provides some basic training for CCF programming/training (w/o the $10k price tag that ABB charges).

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

Matt
