xCel Energy uses The CMCP420VT; a solid state, loop powered vibration transmitter on Boiler Feed Pumps and Fans. It provides a 4-20 mA output that is proportional to overall vibration in terms of velocity. The CMCP420VT continuously monitors machinery health and transmits directly into a PLC or DCS for trending, alarm and machine shutdown. In addition, the CMCP420VT provides access to the buffered transducer output for interface to a portable vibration data collector/analyzer for detailed vibration analysis. The Optional LED Display is easy to read, is waterproof and provides a BNC connect to access the buffered dynamic signal.
