We are woring in surface science and want to evaporate Al by e-beam. As we are limited to an almost horizontal arrangement of the source (15deg. of horizontal) the wetting behaviour of Al is a problem. Is there suitable crucible material that is not wetted by aluminum so that with a nozzle aluminum does not flow out of the crucible? What crucible materials are common/usable for this kind of task? (PBN, SiN, Glassy Carbon ???)
