Hello All I have a small problem with Indium/tin(90/10) target
We have a DC magnetron sputtering system, The present target has eroded and we do not have enough finance to buy a new target as its very costly. It has a copper backing plate.
But I have another melted(unused) Indium/Tin(90/10) without copper backing plate.
I want to melt the unused target without backing plate and use it on the one with CU backing plate.

Does any one has experience in doing this as I have to avoid contamination and oxidation.

Any suggestions will be appriciated.

Thanks in advance

Raghu
