I need to heat up a 10 micron thick titanium foil in a vacuum chamber, drive off the impurities and backfill it with hydrogen gas. Has any one ever done this, what kind of heater do I use for thin foils and what temperture range is required. How do you measure how much hydrogen has been absorbed by the titanium?
