Thanks for all the help.
Question, sorry another:

What effect does increasing the oxygen content to 6x10-4 and slowing down the depostion to around 10nm/minute.

I can't seem to get a coat which is stable. It seems to want to absorb moisture or other molecules for about 15 minutes after coating. Is this due to too high an oxygen pressure?

We are producing an enhanced coating of aluminium at around 93% to 94% with TiO (TiO2,Ti2O3 or similar) and SiO, (SiO2,Si2O3 or similar)in oxygen. These are one layer of each oxide over aluminium.

This is new territory for us and any help is very much appreciated.
