Depends on whether you are using thermal evaporation or sputtering. Sputtering is more applicable to coating plastics since the radiant heating can be kept low. If you use sputtering plasma treat the polymer surface with an air discharge. Then deposit the Ti film. I suggest the you get the CD-ROM from the SVC and read the many articles on the subject.Don Mattox
