we make the outside mirror of vehicles which is cr coated by sputtering.for our mirrors, the cr coated colour is a little darker than the other manufacturers.
if the vacuum reach to 10 to -6 degree, the colour is similar, however,it takes too long time (approximately 1 and half hours) to get that degree of vacuum with our machine.
we analised chemical properties of our products, and it contains a little oxygen and carbon besides cr.
we are using oil diffusion pump, booster pump, and finally rotary pump.
Please let me know the way of calculation of the capacities of pumps in every stage, and the cooling temp. of cold trap of DP.,also give me some ideas to solve this problem,i.e. the parameters to impact on the colour.
the other time, someone recommende me to use liquide nitrogen trap, however,it's not easy to install it right now.
