Hi Hemang,
I agree with Don. I have built many diffusion pumped optical thin film coaters for many clients. As long as the diffusion pump is well trapped and the pumping stack is designed correctly you should not have a problem producing high quality thin films.

P.S. If possible monitor the vacuum quality with an RGA
