Subject: Evaporation of Indium Problem

I'm trying to thermal evaporate Indium from a baffled source onto glass slides and the films are not mirror-like finish but 'frosty'-looking. Then as thickness increases, heat from the source is apparently melting the films forming puddles. Any suggestions?
