i am trying to repair a D60A pump but am not able to achieve the vacuum even after changing the kits.

I feel the cylinders of the pump may have worn out. can anyone tell me how much wear can be tolerated in the pump. what should be the distance between the rotor and the stator. does the cylinder need any replacement or can it be adjusted? also what should be the gap between the stator and the side walls? is there some special adjustment technique?

also is there a FAQ for repair of rotary pumps available on the net?

regards
