Thanks for your mail.
When I have powder I can always mix with some other powder, say Erbium oxide.
If this could be pressed than, I would be able to make few targets:
like one SiO2 with 10% Er, the other SiO2 with 5% of something else, etc.

If I would need just a slab of SiO2, I know it is cheap, because it is common material,
and a lot of companies make it in a bulk quantities.
But if you ask for SiO2:Er slab, it seems that it should be fabricated especially for you.
Then the price goes up.

Maybe my idea is not the best solution. If you have other idea, or maybe you know the company that
has the this kind of material at reasonable price, I would be grateful for your hints.
