It appears that you have found the source of your leak. You could use epoxy to make up a feedthrough if you wish but only use magnet wire and Hysol Epoxy. It is a messy project for sure.
If you have only a few wires, I could send you a couple of headers that have, I believe, seven or eight penetrations. These can be epoxied in with Hysol and make a reliable seal. They are about 3/8 inch in diameter.
