Hi, all:

My question is: do you calculate the refractive index for making a coating design? The reason is: I was working in a different place, and we calculate/calibrate the refractive index regularly, and then use the new index data for new designs. That way, we can make the coating test as close as we had designed. But I am now working in another company, they had never done this before. That makes me wonder--do you all do the calibration/calculation of index? The new company were using some literature index data for their design, since each system is different, the index is too. I'd like so input from you guys.

Thanks in advance for your info.
