Gilman & Associates has ongoing contracts for recruiting
High Tech Engineers for clients in California's "Tech Coast"
region. Only US citizens wishing to relocate to the
San Francisco North Bay area can be considered for client
purposes.

Process Development Engineer:
Job Description: Develop new thin film coating processes for high presion optical
coatings. Take a process from concept stage to prototype then
production. Interface with multifunctional groups to coordiante work.
Supervise and coach 2-3 engineering technicians. Skills Required:
*-Deep knowledge of physical vapor deposition processes(with
emphasis on sputtering)and vacuum equipment. -Exprience with optical
coatings and thin film interference filter design. -Experience with thin
film deposition monitoring techniques. -Programming in Matlab, or
LabView is preferred. -Experience in project management -Good
leadership skills -Action and results oriented -Good communication
skills
Travel Required: 10 hours a week to regional locations
Degree Preferred: Doctorate Preferred in
Physics, Engineering, Materials Science
Minimum Years Experience: 3-5 years
