Hello,
I am currently having problems with the lifetimes on my Aluminium thermal evaporation boats.

They are made from a carbon core with a Boron Nitride coating 'hot pressed' around this. The problem is that the Boron Nitride 'wets' after about 20 runs or so causing an increasing amount of the material to be wasted. I currently Coat the boats in house with Alumiumin Oxide, which decreases the wetting, but this is time consuming. Does anyone out there know of a company which could coat a carbon core with Aluminium oxide (the boat is 8cm long by 1.4cm wide and 0.6cm deep) preferably to a thickness of 0.5mm.

Ideally I would like a boat which does not wet at all and acts as a point source.
