MOCVD Engineer :
This position will provide an engineering presence in the area of MOCVD growth of LASER diodes. The responsibilities include design, optimization and maintenance of all phases of the MOCVD process including inspection, characterization, and perform evaluation of semiconductor LASER diodes. Additional responsibilities will include utilization and development of various characterization techniques implementation of SPC and DOE protocols for manufacturing process.
Bachelors of Science in Materials Science Engineering or Engineering Physics and Masters or PhD. in Material Science, Physics or Electrical Engineering. 5 years experience in MOCVD growth of 2 or more of the following material systems GaAs, AIGaAs, InGaAs, GainP, InGaAP, AllnGap may be substituted for an advanced degree.
Epitaxial Engineer / Scientist:
Design, grow, and characterize experimental InAlGaAs and InGaAsP structures for high-power semiconductor lasers in the research and development group. Develop growth processes for improved performance and reliability of high power semiconductor lasers. Work with a team of process, assembly, and test engineers/scientists to develop advanced laser devices.
Requires PhD. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics. Five years experience in the epitaxial growth and characterization of III-V materials for optoelectronic devices, especially the growth of materials for semiconductor lasers by MOCVD. Familiarity with semiconductor laser fabrication and testing.
Device Processing Engineer / Scientist (2 positions):
Develop new or improved wafer processing techniques in the research and development group. Design, process, and characterize experimental InAlGaAs and InGaAsP materials into high-power laser devices. Work with a team of crystal growth, assembly, and test engineers/scientist to develop advanced laser devices.
Requires M.S. in materials science, electrical engineering, chemistry, or physics. 3 years experience in wafer processing techniques (photolithography, wet etching, metal deposition, oxide/nitride deposition). Familiarity with the epitaxial growth, packaging, and characterization of semiconductor lasers.
Optical Coating Engineer:
I don't have a full description. This person needs to have experience in thin film dielectric coating design and deposition. At a minimum we need electron beam deposition experience. Anyone who has Ion Assisted Deposition and Ion Beam Sputter experience plus some equipment experience.
