Quality EngineerSolon, OH - Privately owned wireless instrumentation and electronics manufacturer seeks Quality Engineer. Establish and maintain quality control processes, quality standards, inspection and test methods, as well as procedures for it. Oversee various inspection and test procedures, establish and maintain applicable quality control charts and conduct analyses (SPC, SQC). Assist in determining causes of indesired variation, failure to maintain quality, excessive scrap and rework and make recommendations, which will result in quality improvement. Will require a thorough understanding of DOE, Six-Sigma, Cp and Cpk and it applies to DFM, reliability testing, and ISO 9001. Work with departmental Teams on quality issues using appropriate TQM applications. Plan work in conjunction with others in a Team based environment. Work with Design Engineering on new product development. Provide input on product and process management. Supervise QA Technicians and inspectors. Will involve some customer interaction. The qualified candidate will have 3-5 years of QA/QC experience and 2-3 years supervisory experience; a BS in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, excellent verbal and written communication skills. PC skills and experience with MS Word, Excel and Access applications is required. Project management and experience with the European (CE) requirements is a plus. Electronic Hardware Development EngineerAurora, OH - Will develop new KVM switching products. Experience with microprocessors, PLD's and digital logic design is required. A BSEE/BSCE is required. Projects will include hardware design utilizing INTEL 8051 micro, USB interface chips and embedded TCP/IP. The DOM will assist the sales management team in achieving sales quota as set by the senior management team. Director will be responsible for hiring and training other Marketing personnel.
