ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Technical Qualifications

Electronic Computer Hardware/Software Technician

Proficient with the repair and installation of mainframe and personal computer hardware
and software. Capabilities extend, in detail, to a multitude of associated peripheral, internal and
external, computer interfaced electronic equipment. Highly knowledgeable in all aspects of
Internet, Intranet, and Extranet electronic principles and practices and their application programming
languages. Excellent understanding of several higher level languages as well as the many operating
systems and popular application programs in common use by academic, business, and
engineering environments to date. Detailed exposure to LAN, WAN, and VAN hardware and software
communication technologies. Good comprehension of pen-based computer systems, portable
hand-held keypads, bar-code scanners, and tele-transaction wireless systems.

Electronic Data Processing Technician

Responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, operation and backup of Cray, IBM,
Digital/Vax, CDC, Sperry Univac, TI, and Perkin Elmer data processing environments. Excellent
knowledge of Telex, Kennedy, IBM, and STC reel-to-reel and 3480 cartridge tape drives. Strong
understanding of Gould, Benson, Cal Comp, Centronics, and Versatec 3000 and 5100 plotters.
Proficient with a multitude of high speed, wide carriage, and hard impact LQ and NLQ printer
peripheral devices. Experienced in multiple pack IBM, STC, and CDC hard disk drives. Excellent
understanding of the day-to-day batch job requisitions and operating procedures associated with
a fast-paced and high-volume inside/outside client requested data processing center.

Electronic Instrumentation Technician

Concerned with the development, manufacturing assembly, field installation, component
level repair, maintenance, calibration, and programming of Tokheim, Hydril, Omni, Elliot, and
G. H. Flow Automation Liquid/Gas Flow Computer Systems. Experienced with all associated
front end pressure, temperature, turbine flow, purity monitoring, position sensor, and communications
support interfaces.

Electronic Land/Marine Seismic Exploration Technician

Involved with the engineering, prototype fabrication, manufacturing, component level repair,
maintenance, and in-house/field calibration of the majority of existing, and new development,
electronic equipment for Marine/Land 3-D Seismic Exploration Crews and Data Processing Centers
throughout the world. Additional experience with Develco, Tensor, Baker Hughes, Western Atlas,
and Eastman-Telco Hi-Temp Magnetometer and Induction Downhole Tools.

Electronic/Mechanical Calibration Technician

Proficient with the component level repair, test, certification, and calibration of the majority
of electronic, electro-mechanical, and environmental measurement instrumentation used in
industry today. Exceptionally strong understanding of electronic test equipment. Skilled with
electronic and mechanical Secondary and Primary Standards and their precise accuracy transfer
to engineering and manufacturing working environments.
