Hi,

I am a foreingner, working in Switzerland.

I have been told by my employer to resign otherwise they will anyway let me go with negative remarks on my experience letter. In last review they gave me "Good" rating, hence I suspect this is not because of my performance. They want to reduce head count.

My work permit will expire in March,2003. The company might not extend my work permit. This will make me jobless anyways.

Please suggest in this situation whether I should resign. Also, please advise about how I can recieve unemployment benefit.

I will greatly appreciate any help.
